Heroes' Cross on Mount Caraiman
Bușteni, Prahova
The Heroes’ Cross on Mount Caraiman stands at an altitude of 2,291 metres and commemorates those who died in the First World War. Its Guinness World Records entry dates its construction to 1926–1928 and gives its height as 39.5 metres, including the pedestal. The record for the tallest summit cross was verified in August 2013.
