History of the Textile Industry Exhibition in Cisnădie
Cisnădie, Sibiu
The "History of the Textile Industry" museum exhibition shows how wool was processed in Cisnădie. In four rooms are exhibited the flags of the clothmakers' guild from 1834, an original loom, wool carders and a warping frame.
The hand tools were used between 1700 and 1900, and the last part presents products of the city's textile enterprise. The exhibition is located on Apărării street no. 2, in the center of Cisnădie.
