Holy Archangels–Lac Church in Câmpina
Câmpina, Prahova
The Church of the Holy Archangels–Lac in Câmpina is located in an area that preserves the memory of the old properties of the Câmpineanu family. The current building, in neoclassical style, was erected at the end of the nineteenth century in place of an older church. The facade and the tower can be seen during a visit to this part of the city.
The name Lac distinguishes it from the other churches of Câmpina, and its dedication honors the Holy Archangels Michael and Gabriel. The church retains its religious function and is used by the parish community. To see the interior, plan your visit around the parish’s opening hours and services.
