Holy Archangels Wooden Church in Boiereni
Boiereni, Târgu Lăpuș, Maramureș
The wooden church of the Holy Archangels in Boiereni, a village that belongs to the town of Târgu Lăpuș, is located on a hill in the eastern part of the village. The locals call it the Church of the Paveleni.
The sources give different dates for its construction, between 1735 and 1782; some say that it was brought in 1810 from Suciu de Jos. The tower rises directly from the narthex. It is a historical monument.
