Holy Trinity–Piață Church in Câmpina
The Church of the Holy Trinity-Piață in Câmpina is one of the historic churches of the city. Built in 1828, it is linked to the names of the founders Grigore Bujoreanu and Maria. Its position in the central area and the silhouette of the tower make it an accessible landmark on a walk through Câmpina, along with the nearby civil and commercial buildings.
The visit can start with looking at the church’s facades and architectural forms, then it can continue inside when the parish schedule allows. The church has an active community, and the tourist stop must respect the services and the peace of those who come to pray. The name Piață helps to identify it and distinguish it from other churches dedicated to the Holy Trinity in Prahova county.
