Horezu
Vâlcea County, Oltenia, Romania
Horezu is a town in Vâlcea county, in the north of Oltenia, known for its tradition of handmade ceramics. The workshops in Olari, a village belonging to the town, preserve techniques and decorative motifs passed down between generations. The painted vessels and the meeting with the craftsmen provide an image of the living heritage of this area.
