2008 - Jim Carrey, Steve Carell, Carol Burnett, Will Arnett, Seth Rogen, Dan Fogler, Isla Fisher, Jonah Hill, Amy Poehler, Jaime Pressly, Charles Osgood
Like Seuss's book, the film features an imaginary elephant named Horton (Carrey), who hears a faint cry for help from a speck of dust floating in the air. Although Horton does not know it, the speck contains an entire town called Who-ville, inhabited by microscopic beings, the Whos, led by the Mayor (Carell). Despite ridicule and threats from neighbors who think he has lost his mind, Horton is determined to save the dust particle... because a person is still a person, no matter how small.
