Ialomița Cave
Bucegi Mountains, Dâmbovița
Ialomița Cave is in the Bucegi Mountains, in Moroeni commune in Dâmbovița County. Its entrance is connected to the monastic complex in the cave, and the underground route continues through galleries equipped with stairs and walkways. About 480 meters of the cave are fitted out for visitors. The cold and damp can be felt even in summer, so the museum that manages the site recommends mountain gear. Check access to the mountain area and the cave’s opening hours before setting out, especially in the cold season.
