Ialomița County Museum
Slobozia, Ialomița
The Ialomița County Museum is based on Matei Basarab boulevard in Slobozia. It started in 1971 as an ethnography section and became a county museum in 1981, when Ialomița and Călărași counties were separated.
In Slobozia, you can see the ethnography exhibition about the life of the villages in the Muntenia Plain, archaeological discoveries and the exhibition "Testimonies of the Orthodox Faith", opened in 1990.
