Innsbruck is the capital of Tyrol, in western Austria, situated on the river Inn and surrounded by mountains. The Golden Roof is one of the landmarks of its old center. The historic facades, pedestrian streets and views of the Nordkette massif combine the atmosphere of an Alpine town with imperial heritage.
