Ios

Lying between Naxos and Santorini in the Cyclades, Ios is a hilly island with steep cliffs dropping to the sea on most sides. The main village, Chora, has whitewashed houses, narrow alleys and steep stairways that cars cannot use, and the best-known beach is Mylopotas. The island also has a tomb said to be that of Homer.
