Italian Shorthaired Hound
Italy
Italian short-haired Segugio (Segugio Italiano a pelo raso) is a medium-sized Italian hound, used mainly for hunting rabbits and wild boars. Wikipedia says it is one of two forms of the Segugio Italiano, the other being the rough-haired one, almost identical except for the fur and being slightly larger. The FCI standard describes it as hardy, fast and very zealous, with a balanced but not very expansive temperament, a gentle expression and a resonant and very pleasant voice.
