Knoblauch Pharmacy Museum in Oravița
Oravița, Caraș-Severin
The Pharmacy Museum in Oravița is located at no. 17 on 1 Decembrie 1918 Street, in the "La Vulturul Negru" pharmacy building. It was the first pharmacy serving the mining community in the country and from 1796 it belonged to the Knoblauch family of pharmacists.
Two rooms display furniture from the eighteenth to the twentieth centuries, containers and devices for preparing medicines, while the third room houses a library of old pharmacy books. The building is a historical monument.
