Lefkada
Greece
Connected to the mainland by a long causeway and a floating bridge, Lefkada is a Greek island in the Ionian Sea. Porto Katsiki beach lies on the west coast, while in the south Cape Lefkada has 30-metre cliffs from which, according to legend, the poet Sappho threw herself. From the resort of Nidri you can see the island of Skorpios, once owned by Aristotle Onassis.
