Lighet Lake in Târgu Lăpuș
Târgu Lăpuș, Maramureș
Lake Lighet is located in the south-eastern part of the city of Târgu Lăpuș. It was made in 1975, by damming the Nireș stream, also called Lighet.
It has about 4 hectares, depths between 0.5 and 6 meters and is surrounded by forest. Fishermen catch carp, crucian carp, grass carp, rudd and perch here, and there is a recreational base on the shore.
