MAGMA Contemporary Art Exhibition Space
The MAGMA Contemporary Art Exhibition Space is located on the ground floor of the Bazaar building, in Libertății Square in Sfântu Gheorghe. Opened in 2010, the space is linked to the Szekler National Museum and the development of its visual and multimedia art collection. The rooms host curatorial projects and temporary exhibitions dedicated to contemporary art.
The MAGMA program brings together drawing, photography, art objects, installations and video, depending on the project presented. Exhibitions periodically change the works and the way the rooms are used. During the visit, it is worth consulting the presentation of the current project, which explains the artist’s selection and the relationships between the works. MAGMA has its own exhibition circuit in the Bazaar building, with access and activities announced through the space's website.
