Mărășești Railway Station
Mărășești, Vrancea
Mărășești railway station serves the city of Mărășești in Vrancea county, and its building is a historical monument. In the summer of 1917, during the battles of Mărășești in the First World War, the station was destroyed; a photograph from that time appears in the history of the war written by Constantin Kirițescu.
The rebuilt building has kept its old architecture. It has a yellow facade with arched doors and windows, a clock above the entrance and a long awning over the platform.
