Maria Radna Basilica
Basilica Maria Radna dominates the locality of Radna, part of the city of Lipova, on the northern bank of the Mureș. The two towers, raised in 1911 to 67 meters, can be seen from a distance. The construction of the current church began in 1756, in a place where there was already a chapel and the Franciscan community.
Inside is venerated the icon of the Mother of God printed in Italy and brought to Radna in 1668. The church received the title of Basilica Minor in 1992 and continues to receive pilgrims of many languages and denominations. Around it are the buildings of the former monastery, restored and opened for cultural visits. The main access is from Avram Iancu Square, on the steps that go up to the facade with the two towers.
