Botoșani, Botoșani
Mihai Eminescu Park, also known as Grădina Vârnav or Belvedere, was opened in 1869 on the property of the nobleman Nicu Vârnav. In the first year, visitors paid an entrance fee.
The town hall bought the land on October 27, 1873, so that the city could have a public park. The paths descend in terraces between flower beds.
