Mihail Săulescu Monument in Predeal
Predeal, Brașov
The monument to the poet Mihail Săulescu is located in the north of Predeal, on the boulevard that bears his name. It was made by the sculptor Oscar Han and erected in 1930, at the initiative of the Society of Romanian Writers.
Săulescu voluntarily enlisted in the First World War and died in 1916, in the battles in the Predeal area. On the plinth is a bronze sculpture and a medallion with the poet's face.
