Mineral Springs Walk in Slănic-Moldova

Slănic-Moldova, Bacău

The alley of mineral springs in Slănic-Moldova connects the catchments and the pavilions that were the basis of the development of the resort. The first spring was discovered in 1801, and the springs were given numbers so that they could be identified separately. The promenade follows the catchment points in the valley, with steps and stopping areas next to the facilities.

Some sources are in operation, others preserved out of use or undergoing work to collect their water again, so not all historical points provide water permanently. The pavilions and inscriptions of the springs can be viewed in one walk. Numbers such as 1, 1 Bis, 5 or 10 mark separate spring collection points, and the layouts maintain the connection between the promenade and the spa history of the locality.
