Miodrag Belodedici

Miodrag Belodedici is a former Romanian defender appreciated for his elegance, composure and the way he anticipated the actions of his opponents. He won the European Champions Cup with Steaua in 1986 and with Red Star Belgrade in 1991. He played in the center of defense, where he recovered the ball and started attacks with well-chosen passes. He was also part of the Romanian national team at the 1994 World Cup, bringing experience and defensive assurance to a team that reached the quarter-finals.
