Mountain Civilization Museum in Rânca
Rânca, Novaci, Gorj
The Mountain Civilization Museum is located at the entrance to the Rânca resort, in a wooden building modeled on traditional mountain houses. It was inaugurated on September 8, 2012 by the "Cerbul" Novaci Community and the Gorj County Center for the Conservation and Promotion of Traditional Culture.
Several rooms display objects illustrating the history, daily life and occupations of the shepherds of northern Gorj.
