Municipal Park in Vatra Dornei

The Municipal Park of Vatra Dornei, also known as Băilor Park, occupies the green area in the center of the resort. Its paths connect the mature trees, pavilions and historical buildings of the spa complex. The configuration of the park began to take its current form in the second half of the nineteenth century, with the development of the baths.

On the pedestrian route are the Alley of writers and artists, the music pavilion and the Sentinela Spring building. The gazebo recalls the brass band concerts that accompanied the life of the resort; musical evenings are still organized here today. Squirrels can be found among the trees, and the links between the alleys allow you to continue the walk to the casino and the nearby cathedral. The park is a public promenade space, integrated in the center of Vatra Dornei.
