National Museum of Agriculture
The National Museum of Agriculture is in Slobozia, Ialomița County. Its collections trace the cultivation of the land, the raising of animals and the processing of agricultural products, through tools, machines and objects from rural households. The main building is surrounded by a park where large exhibits are kept.
Highlights include the agricultural machinery, the milling facilities and the wooden Church of Saint Nicholas, brought to the museum yard. The collections also include transport equipment, textiles and documents on the history of agriculture. The model farm at Perieți is also part of the museum, at a separate site away from its Slobozia headquarters.
