Neuman Palace in Arad

Arad, Arad

The Neuman Palace is located in the center of Arad, on Revolution Boulevard, at the intersection with Horia Street. Built at the end of the nineteenth century for the Neuman family of industrialists, the edifice combines several architectural influences. The long facades, the tall storeys and the decoration of the balconies show the scale of an urban residence linked to the economic development of the city.

On the second floor, the balconies and arches use elements inspired by the Florentine Renaissance. The building is part of the local trail dedicated to the Neuman family, along with other places related to its activity and legacy. The palace can be seen from both streets, where the rhythm of the windows, balustrades and ornaments can be followed. The residence is part of the row of palaces built along the central boulevard.
