Nicolae Dobrin

Nicolae Dobrin was a Romanian footballer admired for his inventive dribbling, unexpected passes and the way he controlled the ball. Nicknamed the "Prince of Trivale", the attacking midfielder is closely associated with FC Argeș, with whom he won the championship in 1972 and 1979. He could take an opponent out of the game with a simple feint and found solutions where there seemed to be no space. His talent and his bond with the Pitești club turned him into a symbol of Romanian football.
