Northern Theatre in Satu Mare

Teatrul de Nord is the theater of the municipality of Satu Mare and has a Romanian and a Hungarian section, the Harag György Troupe. The first shows in the city were performed in 1790 by traveling theater troupes.

Since 1847 the city has had its own theater building. The yellow building with a dome is a historical monument.
