Ochiul Beiului Lake

Ochiul Beiului is a karst lake in the Cheile Nerei–Beușnița National Park, in Caraș-Severin county. The water fed by a spring and its blue-green hues can be seen between the trees in the Beiului valley. The tourist trail connects it to the Podul Bei area and the Beușniței waterfalls. The walk is made on the routes indicated by the park administration, respecting the rules of the protected area. The lake and its banks are fragile, so observing from the trail keeps the vegetation and water undisturbed. The state of the route and access conditions must be consulted before starting.
