Our Lady of the Snows Roman Catholic Church in Reșița
The Our Lady of the Snows Roman Catholic Church is located on Traian Lalescu Street, in the historic part of Reșița Montană. The current building belongs to the middle of the nineteenth century and maintains the connection with the Catholic communities of the industrial city. The towered facade and street-facing entrance form an easily recognizable landmark in this area.
The church continues to host parish services, and in 2022 the community celebrated 175 years since the church was built. The interior and its religious details can be discovered during the intervals when the church is open, without disrupting the liturgical services. A stop here completes the observation of the old architecture of Reșița and the diversity of communities that contributed to its development.
