Palace of Culture in Iași

The Palace of Culture dominates the center of Iași with its neo-Gothic facade and clock tower. The building was erected between 1906 and 1925 to designs by the architect I. D. Berindei, to house administrative offices and courts. Inside, the decorated rooms and the mosaics stand out. Today, the palace houses the art museum, the history and ethnographic museums of Moldavia, and the “Ștefan Procopiu” Science and Technology Museum. Which tour you choose depends on the museums and exhibitions you want to see; the institution publishes access information for each space separately.
