Panasonic

Kōnosuke Matsushita started the Japanese company now called Panasonic in 1918, and its early products included radios, electric irons and bicycle lamps. Panasonic sold mobile phones worldwide, but in 2005 it pulled out of markets outside Japan because of poor sales. It returned in 2012 with its Eluga Android smartphones.
