Peacock

The male has a blue head, a fan-shaped crest and a long train of feathers with colourful “eyes”, which he raises and shakes to attract the female. The female, the peahen, is mostly brown, with a white face and a shiny green neck, and has no train. The common species comes from India and its neighbouring countries, and the peacock can fly despite its long train.
