Perchiu Hill in Onești

Dealul Perchiu, 398 meters high, is the highest point of the city of Onești. On it is the Heroes' Cross, which can be seen from the whole city.

The hill is a Natura 2000 site. Plants from warmer areas, rare in Moldavia, grow here: downy oak, smoke tree and dwarf almond.
