Peruvian Hairless Dog
Peru
The Peruvian Hairless Dog (Viringo) is an elegant and slender sighthound-type dog from Peru with no hair or, more rarely, short hair. It comes in three sizes: small, medium and large. It appears on the pottery of some pre-Inca cultures. The standard describes him as noble and affectionate at home, lively and attentive, but cautious with strangers.
