Presentation of the Mother of God Church in Tohanu Nou
Tohanu Nou, Zărnești, Brașov
The Church of the Entry of the Mother of God into the Temple in Tohanu Nou was built in 1779, with the support of the Brașov merchant Ioniță Boghici, shortly after the foundation of the village.
The church preserves four royal icons painted by Constantin Popovici in 1779 and a brass candlestick with two arms, from 1723. The church is a historical monument.
