Presentation of the Mother of God Church in Trăistari

The church in Trăistari, dedicated to the Presentation of the Mother of God in the Temple, is located on Alexandru Ioan Cuza street, at number 176, in Ocnele Mari. The church is a landmark of the neighborhood, with its own courtyard and a masonry building. The Archbishopric of Râmnic documents here the activities and services of the parish.

On the outside, the rounded apse, the narrow windows and the tower clad in sheet metal stand out. Small painted icons are under the cornice and the precinct garden surrounds the church. These details can be observed during a stop at the church; for the interior, visiting and photographing are adapted to the schedule and rules of the parish.
