Queen Marie Heroes' Monument in Onești
Onești, Bacău
The Heroes' Monument "Regina Maria" is located near the City Hall in Onești and is dedicated to the soldiers who fell in the First World War, between 1916 and 1919.
The bones of the heroes were brought here in 1941 from Curița village, Cașin commune. The monument has stone walls with bas-reliefs and wide steps.
