Shattered illusions are hard to mend - especially for a kind-hearted zebra named Stripes, who has spent his life on a farm in Kentucky amid the mistaken notion that he is a thoroughbred. Once faced with the fact that his strong stripes mark him as different, he decides he will compete anyway. And with the help of the young girl who raised him, he just might make it to the winner's circle.
