Râșnoava Gorge
Râșnoavei gorges are located near Râșnov, in Brașov county, on the edge of the Postăvarul massif. The valley cuts through a sector with limestone walls, high cliffs and forest-covered slopes. At their base, the road allows you to approach the narrow area of the gorges and observe the difference between the stone edges and the surrounding wooded slopes.
The walls are known for climbing routes such as Santinela Cheilor and Surplombele de Aur. Cliff activities require specific equipment and training, and access to sports services or facilities is checked separately with operators. A walk down the valley can follow the walls and the surrounding landscape without following these trails. Trails start from the gorge to Poiana Secuilor, Trei Brazi and Poiana Brașov, through the valleys and glades at the foot of Postăvarul.
