Reformed Church in Hunedoara
The Reformed Church in Hunedoara stands near Corvin Castle and is linked to the Bethlen family. Founded in 1644 by Péter Bethlen, the building combines Renaissance and Baroque elements. The bell tower marks the entrance on the western side, and the coats of arms above the entrances remind visitors of the family that supported the building of the church.
Inside is an organ from 1882, bought in 1910 from the old Roman Catholic church. The church is a historic monument, and the architecture and the coats of arms of the Bethlen family are the main elements to look for on the exterior. Access to the interior depends on the schedule of the Reformed community.
