The TV show "Revolution"

Our way of life depends on electricity. However, what would happen if everything suddenly stopped? One day, as if it were just a simple push of a button, everything stopped. Planes fell, hospitals closed and communication became impossible. Lacking modern technology, no one can tell us why the power went out. Now, after 15 years, life has returned to the way it once was, before the invention of electricity: families live together in peace and when the sun goes down, candles are lit. A young girl's life is dramatically changed when the local militia arrives in the village where she lived and kills her father. She sets out in search of her uncle, to help her search for answers from the past and unravel the mysteries of the future.
