To cover his debt, Rocky sells everything he has and returns to the poor neighborhood he came from. A shady fight promoter tempts Rocky with a very lucrative offer to return to the ring, but his wife fiercely opposes it to protect his health. Meanwhile, a young boxer who idolizes Rocky asks him to be his trainer. Rocky agrees, which strains his relationship with his son. Thus begins the most important fight in Rocky's life: the one for his family and his dignity.
