Saint Anthony of Padua Church in Câmpina

Câmpina, Prahova

The Church of St. Anthony of Padua in Câmpina is the place of worship of the local Roman Catholic community. Built at the beginning of the twentieth century, the building recalls the European communities attracted to the city by the development of the oil industry. The pointed tower, the windows and the shape of the facade make it easily distinguishable from the Orthodox churches in Câmpina.

The engineer Anton Raky was one of the supporters of the construction of the church. During a visit, the exterior can be observed for the architectural details, and the interior for the typical setting of a Catholic church. Access adapts to the parish program and services. The stop adds context about the diversity of communities that lived and worked in modern Câmpina.
