Saint Demetrius Wooden Church in Răzoare
Răzoare, Târgu Lăpuș, Maramureș
The wooden church of Saint Dumitru from Răzoare, a village that belongs to the town of Târgu Lăpuș, was probably built in the first half of the eighteenth century. It is a historical monument.
The roof is made of wooden shingles, and the bell tower with an open gallery has a pointed spire, finished with a simple cross. Inside, the walls are half-clad in wood and decorated with framed icons and decorative towels with traditional motifs.
