Saint George Church in Botoșani

The Church of Saint George in Botoșani was founded in 1551 by Lady Elena Rareș, the widow of Petru Rareș. The inscription says that the work was finished in October 1551.
The belfry on the north side was erected after the eighteenth-century one was demolished. The church is a historical monument.
