Sfânta Vineri Church in Pitești

Pitești, Argeș

The Sfânta Vineri Church stands on the lowest terrace of Pitești, approximately 300 meters from the center. It was started in 1817 by Ion Ungurelu, a sluger (a boyar official who supplied the princely court with meat), and Hagi Țenea, as recorded on the stone inscription on the west wall.

The church has two towers and is a historical monument.
