She-Wolf Statue in Satu Mare

The statue of the She-Wolf from Satu Mare is a copy of the famous Lupa Capitolina from Rome: a she-wolf nurses Romulus and Remus, the legendary founders of Rome.

It is located in Vasile Lucaciu Square. On the pillar on which it stands is written the Latin inscription "ROMANAE VIRTUTI IN DACIA REDIVIVAE SACRUM".
