Slănic Gorge and Waterfall

Slănic-Moldova, Bacău

The Slănic Gorge and Waterfall are located upstream from the center of the Slănic-Moldova resort, in a sector where the river flows between rocks and forest. The gorge extends for about 400 meters, below the road level. The relief narrows the bed between the slopes of the Pufu and Dobru mountains, and the water forms a waterfall next to the area known for the Cascada Restaurant.

The bridge over the river connects with the alley on the left bank, from where views of the water and rocky walls open up. The waterfall and the gorge make up the same valley stop without requiring two separate trips. To approach the water, follow the landscaped path; stones in the riverbed and wet edges can be slippery.
