The Somali cat (Somali) is the semi-long haired version of the Abyssinian cat: it differs from it only in the length of the fur. It has fine and very thick fur with "ticked" strands in light and dark bands, a bushy tail and a rich collar. For its slender body, long tail and large, pointed ears, it is called the "fox cat". She is intelligent, playful and very attached to the family.
